We have implemented utilities in the search function to facilitate the exploration of the Darknet with VormWeb. The context of these utilities are available in both German and English.
Darklexika
Darklexika is a knowledge tool for the summarization of information regarding popular Darknet services or persons of the Darknet. The information are shown in a gray box next to the search results and are similar to an encyclopedia, but we don't provide complete wiki pages. Darklexika entries normally come with clickable references as a source list.
Darkglossary
Darkglossary is a dictionary tool, with which one can search for definitions of various words from the IT spaces relevant to the Darknet. Often these words or meanings are from Darknet forums on which they get used.
Darkobfuskator
Darkobfuskator is an obfuscation tool, with which VormWeb can be used in three different modes. The standard mode does not hide search terms from our website's title and URL, the moderate mode does exactly that. With the extended mode, it is possible to completely obfuscate VormWeb inside a seemingly real looking different layout of popular Clearnet websites for special occations (i.e. while being outdoors). By this, one hasn't left VormWeb, however, in order to open up the VormWeb search, a specifically titled button has to be clicked on.
